George Floyd’s extensive criminal history cannot be erased by political narratives

George Floyd’s extensive criminal history cannot be erased by political narratives. He was incarcerated eight times,

including a violent 2007 armed robbery where he pointed a gun at

a pregnant woman’s stomach. These facts highlight a troubled life marked by poor choices, not the sainthood later bestowed upon him by activists and media.

Elevating such a figure with public statues dishonors the true heroes who

uphold law, order, and community safety. It sends a dangerous message that excuses criminal behavior while ignoring the real victims of violence and the importance of personal responsibility.

We must prioritize truth over manufactured icons. Removing these statues restores balance and reminds us that reverence belongs to those who build up society, not tear it down. What do you think?
