Iranian Official Emphasizes Expansion of Iran’s Missile and Drone Capabilities
Acting Iranian Defense Minister Majid Ibn Reza has emphasized the expansion of the country’s missile and drone capabilities, describing them as a red line.
According to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, on Wednesday, July 1, the acting
defense minister stated that Iran’s missile and drone programs are not open to negotiation.
The report said that Ibn al-Reza stressed that Iran will continue to expand its missile and drone capabilities.
Iran’s missile program has raised concerns among countries in the region, particularly
following the recent conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.
Israel is among the countries advocating for negotiations over Iran’s missile capabilities as part of talks between Tehran and Washington.
However, Iran maintains that its missile program is purely defensive and has consistently insisted that it is not subject to negotiation.
