The Chicago Bears, a legendary franchise that endured the Great Depression

The Chicago Bears, a legendary franchise that endured the Great Depression, World War II, and the 2008 financial crisis while remaining rooted in the city, are now preparing to abandon Chicago. This heartbreaking decision comes not from economic hardship or fan indifference, but from the disastrous leadership of Mayor Brandon Johnson and Governor JB Pritzker, whose failed policies have turned a proud city into a symbol of urban decay.

Skyrocketing crime, crushing taxes, failing schools, and relentless progressive experiments have made Chicago inhospitable for businesses, families, and major institutions. While these two Democrats lecture about equity and inclusion, they’ve presided over a collapse in public safety and economic vitality that is driving away the very anchors that once defined the city’s strength and identity.

It’s time to remove Brandon Johnson and JB Pritzker from office before more of Chicago’s heritage is lost. The Bears’ potential departure should serve as a loud wake-up call: one-party Democratic rule is destroying great American cities. Voters deserve leaders who prioritize safety, opportunity, and common sense over radical ideology. Chicago can be great again, but only after real change at the top.
