Observers have been speculating about Donald Trump’s physical well-being more and more
recently, so our Washington correspondent investigated the situation. As usual whenever Trump is allowed to chitchat for a bit, there are some all-time great lines — it’s really a cursed situation that one of the most evil people alive is also one of the funniest, but here we are.
“He had one problem,” Trump said. “At a certain age, about 86, 87, he started getting, what do they call it?” He pointed to his forehead and looked to his press secretary for the word that escaped him. “Alzheimer’s,” Leavitt said. “Like an Alzheimer’s thing,” Trump said. “Well, I don’t have it.”
Ben also talked to many people in the president’s inner circle about his health, and they said stuff like “This guy is too healthy” (Marco Rubio) and that an “AI analysis says he’s 14 years younger” (his physician’s assistant). At another point in the interview, Ben and Trump were interrupted by a call from Trump’s former agent Ari Emanuel. Afterward, Trump said, of Emanuel, “They made a television show about this fucking guy. He’s a legend,” which leaves open the tantalizing possibility that Donald Trump has watched Entourage.
